Programs are guided by our limitless potential consisting of three fundamental qualities present in all things. These philosophical concepts are called the gunas—sattva (goodness, calm, harmony), rajas (passion, activity, movement) and tamas (ignorance, inertia, laziness)—in balance with each other. We'll notice the “feel” of each and use that knowledge as a guide.
Understanding yourself is fundamental to wellbeing. Personal insight will be considered as we're guided by Ayurveda - our ancient science of nourishment. The combination of the five elements present in all living things gives rise to the doshas —kapha (water, earth), pitta (fire, water) and vatta (air, ether). All yoga styles have their place. They relieve tension, regulate nervous systems, present challenge and promote calm. We'll practice pranayama, meditation and asana depending on needs to support our time and energy. Dynamic and restorative practices support us. We'll use music and props to encourage us to drop deep into practices. On and off the mat, yoga guides every step.

We'll commit to practice and be compassionate to allow for present moment awareness. We'll make adjustments, intentions and acknowledge that we've shown up every time.
